In addition to producing round winding wires, Essex is also a leader in enamelled and covered rectangular copper winding wires.

Identical to round wires or CTC products, our product offerings support the most demanding and specific requirements.

Our production processes enable us to support all types of products for our customers, from 3mm x 1mm up to a 125mm cross section.

Most insulation types are available: high temperature or bonding insulating varnishes with our wrapped products including Kapton, Nomex, glass, paper, and mica. Our production facilities also enable us to offer continuously transposed cable (CTC), which provides the benefits of reduced winding time, excellent windability and numerous product builds.

Hi-Wire is the largest stockist of industry standard Rectangular wires in the UK and it can utilize the Essex group's global manufacturing facilities to supply more bespoke wire products.
